Advisor Rise - Turning Searches Into Subscribers
Insurance advisors were searching for answers, not another insurance brand. For Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, we turned those searches into Advisor Rise, a YouTube content ecosystem that grew into a community of 90K+ subscribers and 1.3M+ views.

Challenge
- Insurance advisors were constantly searching for practical guidance. How do you land your first client? How do you handle rejection? Which policy suits which customer? What separates an average advisor from an MDRT achiever?
- The answers existed, but they were scattered across Google searches, Reddit threads, YouTube videos and Quora discussions. There was no single destination advisors could rely on for credible, practical learning. The real gap was not information. It was the absence of a trusted platform that brought it all together.
Solution
- Before creating content, we studied what advisors were already searching for. We mapped Google and YouTube search behaviour, analysed keyword demand, and studied conversations across Reddit, Quora and YouTube comments to understand what advisors were asking when no brand was part of the conversation. The insight was clear: advisors were not searching for advertisements. They were searching for mentorship.
- That insight shaped Advisor Rise as an always-on learning platform rather than a campaign. Every topic was backed by real search demand and designed to solve a genuine challenge, covering everything from compliance and ethical selling to communication skills, sales mastery, motivation, industry trends and advanced case studies. Instead of publishing isolated videos, we built a structured learning journey advisors could keep returning to.
- People do not all learn the same way, so neither did Advisor Rise. Long-form masterclasses explored complex topics in depth, Shorts simplified jargon into quick takeaways, rapid-fire interviews shared practical advice, mock client pitches recreated real conversations, and panel discussions brought together multiple perspectives. Experienced advisors, mentors and MDRT achievers became the voices behind the platform, giving every lesson the credibility of lived experience rather than scripted marketing.
- The content strategy was supported by a distribution strategy built for discovery. Every upload was optimised through keyword research, playlists, thumbnails, subtitles and YouTube SEO best practices, while Google's BDI-CDI insights and Follow-on Views helped reach advisors most likely to keep watching, learning and subscribing.
